Illustrating the Jubilee line under construction to Trafalgar Square. This station was re-branded in 1979 with the completion of underground passages linking the Bakerloo, Northern and Jubilee lines and became Charing Cross.

The Piccadilly line was extended to Heathrow in December 1977.The publishers of this map would have used an earlier plate to update the map, denoted by the letter R in the reference code.
