Every framing project that comes through our doors is different, rom treasured military medals to film memorabilia and original artwork, Storey’s in-house framing team designs and builds each frame by hand, choosing mounts, mouldings and glazing to suit the piece and protect it for years to come. Restoring and Reframing a Father’s Medals
After a house fire, a customer brought us his father’s service medals — smoke-damaged but thankfully intact. We carefully cleaned each medal and ribbon before mounting and framing them in a new conservation-grade display, giving a much-loved family heirloom a fitting second life.
Floating Wand Frames for the Harry Potter Stage Show
To mark the opening of the Harry Potter stage show, Storey’s was commissioned to create thirty individual frames for the cast — one wand per frame. Each wand was mounted to appear as though it were floating within the frame, a subtle piece of framing magic to match the subject.
Box Frame for the Running Shoes from Chariots of Fire
Some objects deserve more than a shelf. This deep box frame was made to display a pair of running shoes used in the film Chariots of Fire, keeping a piece of cinema history dust-free and on show.
Royal Marine Ceremonial Dagger
A bespoke box frame built to house a Royal Marine ceremonial dagger. Object framing like this calls for secure, sympathetic mounting so the piece is held safely without damage — and displayed with the presence it deserves.
Large-Scale Framing for a Jeff Banks Original
One of the largest frames ever constructed in our workshop, made for an original oil painting by the designer Jeff Banks. Oversized artwork brings its own challenges — weight, handling and proportion — all handled in-house by our framing team.
A Collection of Regimental Cap Badges
A box frame created to display a collection of regimental cap badges. Each badge was individually mounted, turning a drawer full of keepsakes into a single, striking display piece.

A float mount and box frame for the album sleeve and vinyl record of The Who’s fifth album, Who’s Next. Framing records and sleeves together is a popular way to put favourite music on the wall while keeping both perfectly preserved.
